Language Translation

We are proud to work with some of the best language professionals and most demanding clients worldwide. We're particularly keen to support our local roots, so we're currently building on our strong North-West (Lancashire, Cumbria, Merseyside and Manchester) interpreter base. As leading interpreting providers to many PCTs, housing associations, insurers, courts/solicitors and social services across the UK we deliver a wide range of interpreting assignments across the UK.

These include many BSL and SSE interpreting assignments, and these interpreters are particularly in demand. If you're a qualified BSL or SSE interpreter, we'd love to hear from you.

Accelerating technical and commercial developments continually demand new specialisms and languages - you may have precisely the interpreting or translation expertise we seek. We offer in return interpreting and translation on key projects for major clients across many sectors in leading technologies and businesses. We're also the good guys - we don't impose rates, and provide you total support from our Preston, Lancashire offices through permanent, friendly and professional project managers backed by our sophisticated database systems.

Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria and Manchester North-West interpreting resources are only a part of our wider needs and we're always seeking translators - ideally with Trados - experienced in technical, commercial and financial material. Most European, and increasingly Asian and FSU, languages are in demand.

However, please appreciate we have demanding standards!

We are always happy to hear from potential new suppliers, and like any other professional organisation we pride ourselves on the skills and qualifications of our team and have an extensive database of translators and interpreters meeting our rigorous standards.
These standards include:
- DPSI/ NRPSI registered interpreters - note that we will require CRB disclosure for many assignments
- Translators who are professionally qualified and experienced
- Proven specialist subject knowledge

We are particularly interested in hearing from:
- qualified UK-based interpreters holding DPSI and who are CRB cleared. Note we will require copies of DPSI and CRB certificates.
- qualified and experienced translators in most languages, especially mother-tongue English able to work in Trados Tag Editor or MemoQ.
- Translators/ interpreters with CIOL/ ITI membership able to handle certified translations

We may also ask for copies of specialist qualifications and memberships. We will review your application and contact you if we need any further information or a test piece. If you have a particularly unusual language there may nonetheless be opportunities if you are willing to undertake the necessary professional development, and we may be able to advise appropriate candidates.
