Not all products evolve at lightspeed, and many companies only have old paper or PDF copies of manuals and brochures available for their current ranges. That can be a huge hurdle if you want to export and need them in other languages, but it's one that's easily overcome. Our DTP specialists and translation services can re-create the document to a standard similar to - or better than - the original, in whatever languages you need - or English, if you simply want a fully editable version to update. Best of all, the re-creation cost is a one-off - once done, all you'll need to pay for more languages is the translation cost plus a typesetting charge to lay the translation into the layout - and since you own the copyright, you don't have to use us for translation (although we'd like you to!).   • The biggest re-creation project we've handled to date was 20 fully-illustrated high-school Maths and Science coursebooks - that's well over 2000 pages. We took the originals, which existed only as scanned pages in PDF, re-built them in InDesign, translated the content - into Arabic - then typeset that back into the layouts, flipping these and the images and tables to read right-to-left, delivering the product back as press-ready PDFs which the client printed and which are now in use in dozens of schools.
  • The smallest is a single business card, re-built and translated to Chinese - client said "Looks better than the original!"
  • In between are all sorts - flyers, biscuit packs, product labels, datasheets, posters, and more - all of which we were able to re-create, translate and typeset.
